My Journey

My background encompasses broad interests and trainings in biology, anthropology, international health, vision questing, shamanism, traveling, working with addictions, and more. From these experiences I have learned the importance of being deeply heard and feeling safely supported so you are free to express your thoughts, emotions, and longings.

I am passionate about helping clients dig deeper into their wisdom and supporting them in finding and expressing what they love.

I hold a safe space for clients to navigate grief and life transitions to discover creative tools, coping skills, and new perspectives that release limiting beliefs. By learning what holds them back, clients begin to trust their decisions, feel more balanced, and live a healthier lifestyle.

I feel that we are exploring what human does to our being. The exploration takes us through infinite combinations of conditions and influences, both inner and outer.

I am passionate about helping people become empowered so they don’t feel stuck, confused, and overwhelmed in their life.

I remember when I realized certain negative patterns kept recurring in my life. Each time they came I would ask, “why me?” I felt stuck and seemingly at the mercy of what I had to deal with, especially when it came to relationships. I then decided to ask, what can I do so these patterns don’t have a hold over me, or even better, avoid them?

The asking propelled me to take a look into myself and to explore my inner nature more deeply. I stepped out into the world and traveled, went to workshops, classes, and trainings on personal growth, meditation, shamanism, and a variety of other topics. And of course I read lots of self-help books. But it was when I went on a group vision quest in the canyons of Utah that nature helped me the most.

We had to go out on our own and fast for three days and nights. Everyday there came such a strong wind, it reminded me of a locomotive barreling out of control through the canyon. I felt raw and exposed to this rush of cold. And I pondered why I had to feel so overwhelmed and at the mercy of this wind. When we finally regrouped and I relayed my solo experience to the guides, their reflections wisely helped me realize something. Did I truly have to remain stuck in that one place? Why didn’t I move to avoid the wind? Where was my responsibility in making choices that would bring more balance in my life? I didn't have to succumb to the wind or these patterns. The outer nature was a lesson for my inner nature. I learned to recognize those patterns when they present so I can make healthier choices. And that’s when I knew I wanted to help others.

So now, as a Certified Life Coach, I guide people who feel stuck and are struggling with life choices to find deeper clarity, balance, and wisdom with creative coaching solutions.

What voices are you focusing on?

I have a very strong comparison voice. It has been with me for a long time and would lower my value compared to everyone else. It also fed other voices like, why bother and not good enough. They were primary voices, so they had my attention a lot. And if I only focused on those voices, their sabotaging influences would have held me back.

I also had opposite voices that didn’t want to believe those primary voices. I had to work to hear these disowned voices. They fed me with the messages to value my way of doing things, to persist and try, and how my best was good enough. Although they were buried in the shadows, they managed to get my attention and countered the negative voices so I didn’t stay stuck. The shadow also holds valuable voices.

Learning about your inner selves and their patterns increases your ability to objectively focus on how they influence you. You begin to take responsibility for your decision making and achieve more balance. Do I still hear those primary voices? Yes, they are inherently part of my inner landscape, but my focus broadened. I am now more aware of all the voices of myself speaking and therefore in charge of them instead of vice versa.

What voices are you focusing on? How can you use your inner voices as a way to grow? Voice Dialogue is a tool that brings greater awareness and objectivity to exploring all the voices of yourself.
